Amira Sereia

Amira Sereia is a performance artist who specializes in Liquid Fusion Belly Dance. This style is her own creation that fuses the street dance style of Liquid with Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.

Amira’s roots lie in the coastal forests of Southeast Alaska. She relocated to Portland Oregon shortly after high school to pursue a career in Dance and Art. She has been dancing since she was 8 and has over 7 years of formal Belly Dance dance training including Egyptian,Turkish, Ritual Theater and Tribal Fusion.

In 2012 she commited herself to this Dance after taking classes with Cassiopeia. In 2013 she began learning Tribal Fusion and Ritual Theater with Nagasita and has been a student and dance partner of hers ever since. In 2016 she became certified in Zoe Jakes’ Key of Diamond Intensive program. As often as possible she takes many workshops from world renowned performers including Rachel Brice, Michelle Sorenson, Sabrina Spears, Illan Reviere, Mardi Love, Kimberly Larkspur and more... She currently trains at Datura studios, Afterglow Aerial Arts studio and in her home dance studio.

She is a Co Creator of Elixir Belly Dance Troupe alongside her dance sister of 4 years: Solaura Pearl. She has danced with troupes including Apsara Tribal Nouveau, Auracle Dance, Lalitha, and Soulfire Sacred Dance Ensemble. She has collaborated with musical artists Gaea Soul, and Arcus Tenebrae, and has performed with many Dj’s including Dimond Saints, Nico Luminous, Kaminanda, WALA, Clozee, Octaban and many more.

She is also a certified Makeup Artist from the Art of Makeup School of Vancouver WA. She attended the Oregon College of Art and Craft in pursuit of her Bachelor’s of Fine art with a focus on Drawing and Painting.  

She currently teaches workshops and is available for private lessons.
